Failure to follow the instructions and car bed labels can result in
infant striking the vehicle’s interior during a sudden stop or crash.  

To prevent serious injury or death to infant:

• Secure child restraint with a vehicle seat belt as shown in this

manual.  Vehicle seat belt system MUST hold car bed securely.

• Always secure infant and snugly adjust harness straps.  

DO NOT

place padding or blankets under harness straps or infant.

• Use car bed only on rear vehicle seats which are forward-facing.  

Never use on front vehicle seats with an air bag, seating 
locations on driver’s side of vehicle, or vehicle seats which face 
the side or rear of the vehicle.

• Parent or caregiver must monitor infant’s condition at all times 

while in car bed.

• Use only parts or accessories made by AngelGuard.  Parts or 

accessories from other manufacturers could alter the safety of 
the car bed.

• Properly secure medical equipment outside of car bed.

• Check that car bed is not damaged or missing parts.

• Replace car bed after a crash.  Never use car bed again.

To prevent serious injury or death from strangulation, suffocation, or
from falls or tipping over:

• Never leave infant unattended in car bed even when sleeping.

• Always securely adjust harness straps.  Never leave harness straps 

loose or unfastened.
