*TRABON LOW OIL LEVEL SWITCH. - N.C.
MAGNETIC REED FLOAT SWITCH WHICH OPENS WHEN THE TRABON RESERVOIR OIL
OIL LUBRICATION SYSTEM CONTINUED;
LEVEL FALLS BELOW THE DESIGN LOW OIL VALUE.
THE PLC PROGRAM WILL INITIATE RESERVOIR REFILL WHEN THE LOW OIL LEVEL SWITCH
OPENS.
NOTE: BOTH THE HIGH AND LOW OIL LEVEL SWITCHES ARE ASSEMBLED TO A COMMON
SHAFT AND THREADED THROUGH AN OPENING IN THE TOP OF THE TRABON RES-
ERVOIR BY ANGELUS.
*TRABON OIL PUMP MOTOR STARTER OVERLOADS. N.C. EUTECTIC ALLOY
THERMAL TYPE OVERLOAD SWITCHES LOCATED WITHIN THE PUMP MOTOR STARTER
WHICH OPEN IF THE CURRENT TO THE PUMP MOTOR SHOULD BECOME EXCESSIVE FOR
ANY REASON.
SHOULD AN OVERLOAD OPEN THE PLC PROGRAM WILL COAST THE SEAMER TO A STOP.
*OIL CYCLE MONITOR PROXIMITY SWITCH.
MONITORS BOTH THE EXTENDED AND RETRACTED PLAN STATES OF THE MASTER DIVIDER
VALVE SECTION FOR PROPER CYCLING.
THE CYCLE MONITOR PROXIMITY IS PLC INPUT TO TWO (2) TIMERS, ONE TIMES THE IN
STATE
AND THE OTHER TIMES THE OUT STATE OF THE MASTER DIVIDER VALVE
PIN.
SHOULD EITHER TIMER TIME OUT THE PLC PROGRAM WILL COAST THE SEAMER TO A
STOP.
*OIL SYSTEM FAILURE LIGHT.
RED PILOT LIGHT WHICH INDICATES A TOTAL FAILURE OF THE TRABON OIL LUBRICATION
SYSTEM BY THE FOLLOWING LIGHT STATES.
FLASHING:
FILTER PUMP MOTOR STARTER IS DEENERGIZED.
OIL FLOW FAULT SWITCH INDICATES NO FLOW.
THIS IS AN INDICATION THE OVER LOAD RESET MUST BE PUSHED AFTER THE CAUSE
OF
THE TRIP HAS BEEN DETERMINED AND CORRECTED.
PURGE THE SYSTEM OF AIR.
ILLUMINATED:EITHER THE EXTEND OR RETRACT OIL CYCLE TIMER HAS TIMED OUT.
THIS WILL OCCUR IF THE VALVE SECTION IS SLOW IN RESPONSE DUE TO FOREIGN
- MATERIAL INGESTION.
- MECHANICAL FAILURE OF THE HARDWARE, PIPING OR PIPING METHODS.
- OIL CYCLE PROXIMITY SENSOR FAILURE.
- OIL RESERVOIR IS EMPTY.
LOW TRABON OIL LIGHT.
AMBER PILOT LIGHT WHICH INDICATES A TRABON OIL RESERVOIR LEVEL FAULT OR FAIL
URE, BY THE FOLLOWING STATES.
