PELLETS AND PELLET STORAGE
Pellets are produced by
applying high pressure
to sawdust, shavings and
untreated remnant wood
chips from the timber
industry in a mould without
the need for chemical
binders. The result of this
process are EU standard
compressed wood pellets
with a diameter of 0.6 to 0.8
centimetres. the moisture
content of these pellets must
be ten percent maximum.
The heating of pellets
offers many advantages,
because people who use this
environmentally friendly fuel
are not only benefiting the
climate, but are saving their
money on heating costs.

Ask your pellets stove dealer for a list of approved
and monitored fuel producers! The use of low quali-
ty pellets or pellet fuel that has not been monitored
can have a detrimental effect on the function of your
pellet stove and can result in the invalidation
of the warranty, the guarantee and the product lia-
bility linked to them.
CLEAN, DRY STORAGE
It is essential that you store your fuel clean of im-
purities and dry in order to have pellet combustion
that is free of problems. Pellets should not be left in
the open or exposed to the atmosphere even when
