Procedure
To replace this PCB, the entire power supply enclosure must be removed. To remove the power supply
enclosure, perform the following steps:
1.
Loosen the 4 screws (flathead type, captivated) on the bottom of the instrument that are under the power
supply. See
for mounting screw locations.
2.
Remove the 3 screws on the rear panel that are closest to the line input module (2 on left side, one above
the line input module).
3.
Remove the top cover of the power supply and lay the top cover gently to the side. (It is not necessary to
remove the main power supply from the cover).
4.
Grasp the front and rear of the power supply enclosure and lift the supply upwards and slide it toward
the front of the instrument (the bottom of the supply has tabs that prevent it from being lifted straight
up- Gently move the supply housing forward and upward until it is unplugged from the motherboard and
can be removed.
5.
Using a 3/16 inch wrench, remove the 6 nuts that secure the digital connectors on the outside of the
instrument. Gently unplug the digital interface PCB from the motherboard.
No recalibrations are required after replacement of this item.
