Table 5-20.
Error message 162 Modulator Drive error
Description:
Indicates ALC drive voltage for the modulator (located in the Switch Filter) is out of range or is
incorrect.
Table 5-21.
Error Messages 163 and 164 A2 power supply issues
Both of these errors are associated with the A2 power supply monitoring circuit.
Error message 163 Digital Power:
Indicates digital power supply voltages on A2 Processor board are not in
tolerance.
Error message 164 Power Current:
Indicates current draw on 15V, 5V, 3.3V or 1.5V on A2 is out of tolerance.
Description:
On the A2 board there is a switch which monitors the power supplies (+3.3V, +5V, +1.5V and +15V
supplies). The output of the switch goes to the DVM bus which is read by the A4 Auxiliary board's DVM. Also on
the A2 board are 4 current monitoring devices. These devices m3.3V, +5V, +1.5V and +15V supply current.
The output of these monitors is fed into the switch which is routed to the A4 board.
Table 5-22.
Error Messages 165, 166 and 167
All of these errors are associated with the A8 RAM.
Error message 165 Synth RAM Data:
Indicates failure while testing the data bus for the A8 RAM.
Error message 166 Synth RAM Address:
Indicates failure while testing the address bus for the A8 RAM.
Error message 167 Synth RAM device:
Indicates failure while testing the A8 RAM device.
Description:
On the A8 board there are 2 RAMs (Program RAM and List RAM). These RAMs are used by the
FPGA to run the synthesizer. These tests are to verify the data interface to these is operation.
