Positioning
• The position, weather conditions and season affect the
length of time that the batteries can power the lamp.
• The batteries will not be fully charged if the solar lamp is
placed in the shade, which will result in a shorter lighting-up
period and reduce the lifespan of the batteries.
• Do not place solar lamps near sources of light such as street
lamps, this can prevent them from lighting up.
MAINTENANCE
• Avoid scratching the surface of the solar panel, and keep it
free from dust and debris.
• Wipe the solar lamp with a soft, damp cloth if necessary.
Replacing the battery
1. Unscrew the solar lamp from the railing.
2. Undo the two screws holding the chimney.
3. Replace the battery with a new one of the same type.
4. Replace the battery cover and screw tight.
5. Screw the solar lamp back on the railing.
