OPERATOR
The device should only be handled on stairs by those who
have been specifically trained:
Operator qualified for handling on stairs
To handle the device on stairs, both going up and down, the
operator must possess a certificate of qualification issued
by the manufacturer or an authorised representative, only
after having received direct theoretical and practical training
and only after demonstrating the ability to safely perform all
the operations described in this manual.
The stair chairs must only be handled by the operator ap-
pointed in this document.
The operator must be 18 years old.
• The operator should first use the device without anyone on

particularly during the operations of going up and down the
stairs.
• The operator must always be on board machine; so the stair
chairs must not be used in a different way, for example when
the operator is down, otherwise the operator, the person
being transported and the machine may be in danger.
Wheelchair
• The adjustments and settings of the stair chairs depend on
the wheelchair construction.
Even the type of wheelchair used will be determined during
the operator certification.
Should the wheelchair be replaced, directly contact the
manufacturer or his authorized representative before using
it.
• Never approach a staircase if the passenger is not in a fully
upright position, or the position of movement (see USE
chapter).

When it is used for the first time you must ensure that there

by the passenger.
• Before connecting or disconnecting the handlebar from the
