8.3 Everyday use
8.5 Hooking the wheelchair
Every day, when the operator is about to use the aid, he must
always check the following points:
• Battery status.
• If the battery is low, recharge it immediately.
• Features of the safety components: emergency button, slope
indicator
• Position and stability of the handlebar, its proper anchorage.
• Position and stability of the wheelchair; no fastener must be
loose or in an unsafe location so as to ensure the correct
wheelchair anchorage.
• Status and functionality of safety belts.
• At the end of each operating cycle, turn the key to OFF posi-
tion and remove it from the aid; the companion is responsible
for the key.
• Press the “LIFTING” button L so as to easily handle the stair
chairs on the floor.
• Open the wheel supports.
• Place the stair chairs under the wheelchair and thus press
one of the “FORWARD “ or “ BACKWARD” buttons to au-
tomatically reposition the stair chairs on the floor and in a
firm position.
The motorised base can be moved even without handlebar by
pressing the double button on the control panel.
This button is intended for a limited use, or to perform small
movements and easier the loading of the aid on a vehicle.
(-) forward movement
(=) backward movement. When moving back make sure you
are not hit by the aid itself.
