The TAVOLA MO is an electric radiator for domestic heating with a non-variable power level. The heating takes place by convection and radiation heat
transfer.
It is highly recommended to read this user and maintenance manual, especially the warnings.
1. GENERAL
Follow the safety standards in your country.
Entrust the installation of this equipment to qualified personnel.
Remove the TAVOLA MO from the packaging and place it on a flat surface, opening the box from the largest side. Make sure the power cord is intact
and that the TAVOLA MO did not suffer any damage during transportation. DO NOT operate the equipment if the cord is damaged.
2. INSTALLATION
The TAVOLA MO is designed to be mounted to a wall. No other type of mounting is allowed. The kit includes two support brackets and two fixing
screws.
Use four 8 mm diameter plugs suitable for the material of the wall. Choose the point of installation of the radiator, making sure that:
-
it is not located directly under a wall socket.
-
the plug and socket or the ON/OFF switch are easily accessible after installation.
-
the electric cords or other tubes cannot be damaged.
-
curtains or other flammable materials are a safe distance away.
-
the minimum distances between the walls, floor and large items (i.e. furniture) are not exceeded.
-
Fix the support brackets according to the measurements shown in figure 1;
-
Place the radiator on the brackets and secure it with the screws provided, and if necessary, with the assistance of a second person.
3.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The electrical connection must be performed by qualified personnel.
Before connecting the TAVOLA MO to the mains power, make sure the voltage corresponds to that indicated on the rear identification plate and that the
supply line is sized to the required load. 230 volt 750-1000-1500 Watt.
Connect the TAVOLA MO using a plug whose electrical and mechanical characteristics comply with the specific regulations in your country. Alternati-
vely, you can connect an ON/OFF switch, provided that it is nearby and is easily accessible.
4. MAINTENANCE
The electric radiator requires no special maintenance.
Simply wipe off any dust with a soft, dry cloth. Only clean when it is cold. Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
If necessary, remove any accumulated dirt or dust with a vacuum cleaner.
In the presence of dusty environments, it is recommended to clean the inside of the radiator with a jet of compressed air with a maximum pressure of 3
bar. Do not remove the TAVOLA MO. Clean from the outside.
5. WARNINGS
Do not load more than 5 kg on the radiator;
Do not install under benches in both a public and private setting;
Do not puncture or hang cords on the radiator;
Do not sit or hang on the radiator;
Do not cover.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities, or with a lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the hazards involved.
CAUTION
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Children under the age of 3 years must be kept away from the TAVOLA MO.
Children under the age of 3 years cannot be alone in the presence of the TAVOLA MO.
They are only allowed to be present if there is constant supervision by a responsible and capable adult.
Children older than 3 years must be supervised and instructed on how to use the appliance.
WARNING:
Some parts of the TAVOLA MO may reach high temperatures. Pay special attention in the presence of children, the elderly or other vulnerable persons
with reduced physical or mental capabilities.
CAUTION
The TAVOLA MO does not come with an internal thermostat for controlling the temperature. You can connect a thermostat upstream of the plug or
switch dedicated to the TAVOLA MO.
Do not install the TAVOLA MO in small rooms occupied by people with reduced physical capabilities, without the supervision of a responsible person.
CAUTION
To avoid overheating, do not cover the radiator with materials or anything else when it is in use.
Walls, furniture or other objects must be kept at a distance of at least 50 cm.
It is normal for the radiator to emit creaking sounds when first used.
Do not use in rooms with a floor area smaller than 6 square meters.
If the appliance is installed in a bathroom, make sure it is positioned so that switches or other control devices cannot be touched by a person using the
bath or shower.
The use of extension leads is not recommended as they may become hot during operation.Do not replace the power cord. If the cord is damaged, the ap-
pliance must be scrapped. For direct connection to the mains power, it is necessary to provide a device that ensures disconnection from the mains power,
with a gap between the contacts that ensures complete disconnection in conditions of Category III overvoltage, in compliance with the installation rules.
Check that there are no packaging residuals stuck inside the radiator (if so, remove with a jet of compressed air or vacuum cleaner).
In the case of scrapping, abide by the local regulations on the disposal of materials.
