4.5. Inverter Commissioning
4.5.1 Check before Commissioning
As previously mentioned installation procedure, correctly connect PV arrays,
inverter and AC grid. Ensure that AC and DC voltages meet the need of machine
start.
PV array
Before start the inverter, it needs to check PV arrays on site and see whether
open-circuit voltage of every PV cell is ok.
1) Accurate records of all measured data.
2) Make sure that positive and negative polarity is correct, otherwise it will
seriously damage the machine.
3) Use megger to check whether the insulation resistance of PV arrays’ anode and
cathode to the ground is higher than 2 M Ω.
Communication and accessories
Check whether the RS485 and CAN bus communication cables are correctly and
firmly connected, whether shielding layer is well grounded.
Network
1) Check whether can connect to the external (to send data).
2) Check whether can connect from the external (remote service, to read data).
