Enter the desired text and press the ENTER key on your keyboard or click the map outside of the text label 
active area when you are finished. 

 

 

To view statistical information for a text label, right-click a text label and click 

Info

 from 

the shortcut menu. The text label's label, coordinate information, as well as demographic 
information display in the Info tab. 

 

To use the 

Distance and Bearing/Angle

 option with a text label, you must first have 

another text label placed on the map. The distance and bearing/angle numbers are entered in 
relationship to the LAST text label you added to the map. 

 

While in Draw mode, you can use the Compass Rose or the arrows along the map edges to 
scroll the map.
