Winch features
The winch has a gentle start and stop operation which controls the speed
to avoid any jolting. It is designed to automatically stop and temporarily
become inoperable if the safe working load is exceeded, thus preventing
serious damage or injury. It will automatically reset itself.
Furnished with a pin (see photos below) to allow the winch to swivel in line
with the pull of the wheelchair. Fitting the winch in this way, prevents any
distortion damage to the winch body and potential ride-up of the webbing
onto the reel. Simply drop the pin to lock in place or lift and rotate the pin
handle to allow the winch to pivot.

1/ check the safe working load of 500kg has not been exceeded
2/ check the incline angle of the ramp
3/ check for any obstructions in the path of the wheelchair
