Modify Maximum Length Limit or
Minimum Length Limit
Modify the Length of Data Segment
Appendix D: examples for setting.
Note: The maximum length of any 1D barcode is limited
to 127.
If the maximum length is less than the minimum length,
scan engine will only read these two lengths barcodes.
If the maximum length is equal to the minimum length,
only this length is supported.
Example: Set the scan engine to only read Code 128
barcodes with a minimum of 8 bytes and a
maximum of 12 bytes.
Please read the following setting codes in:
1. Scan 'Enable Setting Code'(If it is already enabled,
user can skip this step).
2. Scan 'Customize Minimum Length Limit'.
3. Scan Data Code '8'.
4. Scan Data Code "Save".
5. Scan 'Customize Maximum Length Limit'.
6. Scan Data Code '1', '2'.
7. Scan Data Code "Save".
8. Scan "Disable Setting Code". (If you want to continue
using, you can skip this step).
Example: Set Segment-Start to ‘0x02’.
Please read the following setting codes in:
1. Look up the table to get the hexadecimal value of
‘0x02’ which is ‘0’, ‘2’.
2. Scan 'Enable Setting Code'.
3. Scan 'Modify Start'.
4. Scan the data code ‘0’, ‘2’.
5. Scan "Save".
