Remove the Crotch pad (09) from the 5-point harness
buckle (05). Find the Recline handle (11) which is under
the seat shell. Pull it to adjust the backrest angle to NO.4
position.
Hold the metal plate of 5-point harness buckle (05)
vertically. Pull it out with the narrow side upwards through
the belt slot closest.
Press the Adjustment button (08) and pull the shoulder
belts towards you with another hand.
Unlock the 5-point harness buckle (05), remove the
Internal cushion (04).
Unhook the shoulder belts on the back side of the child
seat from the Connecting piece (16).
Put the straps tied on Connecting piece (16) into the User
guide compartment (17).
Pull the belts out of the backrest of the seat, then roll the
shoulder belts together and place them also into the
storage compartments.
Remove the webbing of the Shoulder pads (03) from the
metal stick on the GI height adjuster handle (15).

CAUTION! The strap loops of the Shoulder pads (03)
should go through the longer stick of the GI height
adjuster handle (15).

5.2 Refitting the 5-point harness
Please note: Prepare the 5-point harness, Shoulder pads (03),
5-point harness buckle (05), Crotch pad (09) before installation.
Adjust the Headrest (01) to the lowest position.
Thread both shoulder belts into the Shoulder pads (03).
Then thread 5-point harness and straps of Shoulder pads
(03) together through the harness slots.
Put the strap loops of the Shoulder pads (03) onto the
metal stick on the GI height adjuster handle (15).

Pull the Connecting piece (16) out of the User guide
compartment (17).
Hook the shoulder belts of the 5-point harness buckle
(05) back onto the Connecting piece (16).
Adjust the belt if any twist.
Take the 5-point harness buckle (05) and hold the metal
plate vertically. Push it with the narrow side upwards
through the belt slot closest to you into to the seatshell
from above.
Then put the Crotch pad (09) onto the 5-point harness
buckle (05).

6. Care and Maintenance
6.1 Care for the 5-point harness buckle
The buckle latches are ejected only slowly when the red
release button is pressed.
The buckle latches will no longer lock home (i.e. they
are ejected again if you try to push them in).
The buckle latches engage without an audible “click” .
The buckle latches are difficult to insert (you feel
resistance).
The buckle only opens if extreme force is applied.
It is vital for the safety of your child that the 5-point harness
buckle works correctly. Malfunctions of the 5-point harness
buckle are usually caused by accumulations of dirt.
