If the Apresys EZ600 Laser Rangefinder is exposed to sudden changes in
temperature, condensation may occur on lens surfaces. Do not use this product until
such condensation has evaporated.
Care and Maintenance (Lenses)
When removing dust from the lens surface, use a soft, oil-free brush.
When removing stains or smudges, like fingerprints, from the lens surface, wipe the
lenses very gently with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth or quality oil-free lens tissue.
Once a cloth has been used for cleaning the body, it should not be used for lens
surface.
Care and Maintenance (Main Body)
Clean the body with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use cleaners containing solvents.

Invisible/Eyesafe Class 1 Laser
The Apresys EZ600 Laser Rangefinder uses an invisible laser beam for measurement. In
simplified terms, it calculates the time it takes the laser beam to travel to the target and
back. Laser reflectivity and accuracy of the results may vary according to climatic and
environmental conditions, as well as the color, surface finish, size, shape, and other
characteristics of the target.
Distance and accuracy of the measurements may be increased by the following conditions:
Overcast weather
Bright-colored target
Target with reflective surface
Large size target
Angle of the laser beam to the target is equal, or close to, 90°
Distance and accuracy (or even failure) of the measurements may be decreased by the
following conditions:
Non-reflective target surface
Diffusive reflective target surface
Dark-colored target
Low visibility conditions (snow, rain, or fog)
Target measured through glass
Obscured target
