Get onto the bike in riding position.
•
Make sure that the stand has been fully retracted.
•
Make sure the light switch (1) is set to the low beam light position.
•
Set the engine stop switch (2) to RUN.
•
Turn the key (3) and set the ignition switch to ON.
Alternatively:
•
Set the engine stop switch (10) to RUN
•
Turn the key (3) and set the ignition switch to ON.
At this stage:
•
The multifunction display shows the ignition screen for 2 seconds.
•
On the instrument panel, all warning lights (4) and the backlighting are on for
2 seconds.
•
The rpm indicator (5) goes to the bottom of the scale and after 3 seconds, it
goes back to the minimum value.
•
The current value is instantly indicated on the instrument panel during regular
vehicle riding.
IF THE LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT (6) ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL TURNS
ON, REFUEL THE VEHICLE AT ONCE.
THE OVERREVVING THRESHOLD IN NEW VEHICLES IS SET TO 6000 RPM.
RAISE THIS THRESHOLD AS YOU GET USED TO THE VEHICLE.
