Emergency operations (release)
7.1
In the event of a blackout, release the operator and operate
the gate by hand
(adequate thrust force is necessary)
:
CUT OFF THE GENERAL POWER SWITCH;
•
open the cabinet door using the relevant key;
•
rotate the release lever
•
(fi g.12-ref.1)
as indicated in
fi g.12
;
to restore normal operation, act on the lever in the opposite
•
direction;
close and re-lock the cabinet door;
•
restore the mains power supply.
•
IMPORTANT ! The release screw must be removed after use, to
ensure proper brake operation and avoid potentially dangerous
situations!!!
NOTES FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
8.
IMPORTANT !
Maintenance can only be carried out by specialised personnel!!!
Before servicing the operator, use the differential switch to
DISCONNECT
THE
POWER
SUPPLY
!!!
For correct maintenance regularly carry out the following checks
as given in the maintenance manual issued by the installer.
Tab.3
operation
interval
Inspect the general condition of the gate
structure and the upper guides.
12 months
Inspect the condition of wheels, guide, couplings
and limit stops.
12 months
Clean the rack/pinion kinematics.
6 months
Inspect the condition of the safety devices
(photocells, ribs…).
12 months
Check that the electric system and differential
switch work correctly.
12 months
Check that the input of the Stop push-button is
connected to a NC contact and that it is working
correctly.
