The Aqua Medic
multi reactors S, M and L of the second generation
are plug-and-play reactors for use
within the aquarium or filter sump, and can be used for fresh and saltwater aquaria for up to 350 l/92 gal, 500
l/132 gal or 800 l/211 gal respectively.

If the sponge (3) is dirty and needs to be cleaned, shut-off the pump, open the filter body and clean the sponge
with water.

multi reactors S, M and L
Gen II
are designed to operate either directly inside the aquarium or inside
the filter sump. With the supplied holding unit, the multi reactor can be mounted horizontally on the aquarium
glass. The pump needs to be fully submerged to prevent air suction. The entire body may only be submerged
maximum up to the outlets (6) on top of the unit. The immersion depth of the unit can be adjusted by opening
the clamp screw. If the reactor cannot be put deeply enough into the water due to a low water level, splashing
noises can occur. By turning the new water level control (Fig. 2, No. 6), the water in the reactor can be
accumulated which minimizes splashing noises.
