Note:
Technical parameters are measured at an ambient temperature of 32° C and water temperature of
22° C.
Attention:
Cooling unit may not be used under pressure!
Maximum height below water level: 200 cm.
4. Instructions on Temperature Control
4.1. User’s Parameters Setting Method:
After turning power on, hold the “Set” key for 5 seconds to enter into setting mode. This is
indicated by the flashing of the ”Set” LED. Press the setting key to select the content. The
corresponding LED of the content flashes which means this parameter is adjustable. Specific
contents are shown below:
Name
Setting Scope
Default Value
Indicator State
Set
3° C – 35° C
20° C
Adjust the desired set point with +
and - buttons
Hys
1° C – 5° C
2° C
Adjust the hysteresis, the
temperature difference between on
and off.
Defrost
-19° C – 0° C
-5° C
Adjust the defrost temperature. This
is a safety stop temperature for the
compressor to prevent freezing.
Switch
0° C – 20° C
5° C
Adjust the temperature difference to
switch between cooling and heating.
4.2. Cooling mode:
5.
When the water temperature in the water tank is higher than the adjusted set temperature
+ the hysteresis, the compressor and the fan will start to work after 15 seconds and the
“ON” LED lights are on instead of flashing (standby state). At this time, the machine starts
cooling.
6.
When the water temperature in the water tank has reached the set temperature,
compressor and fan will stop working and the “On” LED lights are off. At this time, the
machine stops cooling.
For example: When the water temperature in the aquarium is 25° C and you want to cool it down
to 20° C, operate as follows: Hold the “Set” key for 5 seconds to enter into the “Setting” mode.
The “Set” LED starts flashing. Press the “+” or “-“key to adjust the set temperature to 20° C. The
compressor and the fan will start working after 15 seconds and the “Set” LED lights will be on
instead of flashing (standby state). The machine will start cooling. When the water temperature
drops to 20° C, compressor and fan stop working. The “On” LED lights will be off and the machine
stops heating.
4.3. Heating mode:
1.
When the water temperature in the water tank is lower than the adjusted set temperature -
the hysteresis, the compressor and the fan will start to work after 15 seconds and the “ON”
LED lights are on instead of flashing (standby state). At this time, the machine starts
heating.
2.
When the water temperature in the water tank has reached the set temperature,
compressor and fan will stop working and the “On” LED lights are off. At this time, the
machine stops heating.
