22. Error messages
AMTRON
®
E-30 has an automatic self-
monitoring function. An error code is displayed
when an error occurs:
Error code
Meaning
Err XYZW
X:
Error with temperature sensors
Y:
Error
with
totalizer
Z:
Error
in
statistics
W:
Error in flow meter sensor
Err 1010 *
Temperature sensors mounted the wrong
way round or the temperature on the cold
side is higher than the hot side
Err 2010
One or both temperature sensors is/are
short-circuited
Err 4010
Cable break at temperature sensor
on the cold side
Err 8010
Cable break at temperature sensor
on the warm side
Err 0084
Error in the flow sensor pulse transmitter
*: The error “Err 1010” is usually due to a
temporary condition of the plant by which the
temperature on the hot side has dropped to at
least 3 K below that on the cold side.

ment for all other error messages.
