Set Up and Maintenance

Locating the light unit

Position the lights down the length of the aquarium (left to right). The

are brackets located on the ends of the light unit, these should be

positioned over the top edge trim of the aquarium. Please ensure the

light unit is firmly in place before switching on.

Replacing the flourescent tubes

Switch the light unit off, remove the plug from the mains supplyand

the complete light unit from the aquarium before performing mainte-

nance of any kind. Unscrew the white end caps of the tube holders

by turning them clockwise. Both caps need to be removed before the

tube can slide out. Do not throw away the end caps as they are

required for re-installation of the new tube.

Installing new tubes

With the light unit unplugged from the mains supply and the light unit

removed from the aquarium, slide the endcaps over the tube at

bothe ends. Gently slide the tube pins into the end cap receptacles.

Completely tighten the the end caps back on the receptacle threads.

Be careful not to cross thread as this is a water tight seal. Only

tighten by hand.

(please read the general safety instructions on the other side before installing the light unit)

Your new EasyGlow light unit uses standard T8 size Aquarium Flourescent tubes. They are available as a replace-

ment part from your Aqia One dealer. Light tubes are not covered by the guarantee. Life expectancy is generally 10

months or more, however aquarium flourescent tubes loose their effictive output gradually over time. To maintain

the health of plant and aquatic life effected by the amount of light available, we suggest changing the tubes every 6

months.
