Smartlog
- 66 -
For this test, the Smartlog must be fitted with a SIM card.
The test utility, allows you to set a delay before starting the test, this will if necessary allow you to move the Smartlog to place it in the actual
environment before running the test.
Once the delay has been filled in, click Confirm. The software will then ask you to disconnect the cable from the Smartlog which can then be placed
back in its environment. The software displays the time you have to wait before being able to reconnect the Smartlog to the computer to learn the
result of the test.
The displayed value is a measurement of the attenuation in dBm. It is between 113 (no reception) and 51 (optimal reception).
(In this example the value of 71 represents a good level of network reception)
IMPORTANT
The network reception level has a direct impact on the Smartlog’s useful life and the proper operation of data
transfers.
