IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To protect against risk of electric shock and personal
injury, do not place the cord, plugs or the unit in water or
any other liquid.
Do not operate this unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, or
after a malfunction.
This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
Handle the cord carefully for longer life.
Do not place the unit near an open flame.
Do not try to repair the unit yourself. Only qualified service
personnel should service this unit and your warranty will be voided if you open the unit.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
After unpacking your Nature Kleen, simply complete the following:
Tubing
Using household scissors, cut approximately six (6) inches of tubing. Affix one end of the
6ʺ piece of
tubing to the stainless steel output connector (marked as 03 output on the unit) on the Nature Kleen unit
by sliding the tube over the output connector.
Check valve (white piece)
Insert the white check valve into the other end
of the 6ʺ piece of tubing with the arrow on the check valve
pointing towards the diffuser stone (away from the unit). The purpose of this one way check valve is to
eliminate potential back-flow of water into the unit. Use without check valve voids warranty.
Diffuser Stone
Connect the diffuser stone to the other end of the tubing (where the check valve is not connected). Before
using the unit for the first time; blow air through the open end of the tubing (with the diffuser ball
connected) to ensure a good airflow. Now connect the open end of the tubing to the check valve.
Unit Placement
Place the unit on any free counter or wall space (between 12
ʺ and 36ʺ) that is away from the kitchen sink
and close to an electrical outlet. Do not submerge the unit in the water.
Wall Mounting
If you choose to wall mount this unit, it
MUST
be mounted
ABOVE
counter top level.
You can choose to remove the feet from the bottom of the unit if you like.
To secure the unit to the wall, screw in the two mounting screws 1⅛ʺ apart on the wall. Then place
the Nature Kleen on the wall over the mounting screws and pull down to fasten securely.
