REPLACEMENT OF PARTS AND FILTER MEDIA
Use only Tecatlantis original parts. Check all parts available with your local dealer.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The filter unit is leaking
1.
Check that the seals are securely in place, not damaged or dirty.
2.
Apply a suitable lubricant to the seals.
3.
Make sure that the filter recharges are securely attached to each other.
4.
Make sure that the locking lever is inserted correctly and latched into position.
The filter does not start
1.
Check for possible bends in the tubes.
2.
Make sure that the locking lever is inserted correctly and latched into position.
3.
Check that the aquarium is filled with water and that the inlet pipe is completely immersed.
4.
Make sure that the intake pipe and/or intake strainer is not blocked.
5.
Make sure that the hoses are properly connected to the unit. IN in IN and OUT in OUT and the
rings are blocking hoses not allowing air to enter the system.
6.
Ensure the filter has no water in it.
Low water flow
1.
As both previous tips.
2.
Clean the filter media.
3.
Clean the inlet and outlet pipes.
Both water and air coming from the outlet pipe
1.
Wait 3-5 minutes.
2.
If the problem persists, check that all tubes are well connected.
3.
Check all seals and apply a suitable lubricant.
4.
Gently rock the filter back and forth trying to eliminate air from the filter.
The filter is making noise
1.
As per previous tips.
2.
The water outflow or inflow are clogged. Check all tubes.
DISPOSAL
The pumping head of this equipment should not be disposed of with ordinary household waste.
Dispose of the product in accordance with applicable laws. Get informed with the competent
authorities of the disposal of electrical appliances. Protect the environment.
WARRANTY
This device is guaranteed for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase, against defects
in material and/or workmanship, plus a 24-month extra warranty if you register your product
on our website (

). Our warranty does not apply to claims
the cause of which is due to installation and operation faults, lack of maintenance and misuse
of the device, and attempts to repair by uncertified persons. This warranty does not apply to
components subject to wear, such as sealing rings and pump impellers. The warranty will be made
at our discretion, by replacing the product or repairing it, depending on the technical needs. Parts
repaired or replaced will be warranted for the remaining warranty period. In the event of a claim,
and within the warranty period, please contact your dealer together with the purchase receipt for
the product. All transportation costs will be borne by the customer.
Please keep the original invoice in case warranty service is required.
