CAUTION/SAFETY INFORMATION

Thank you for choosing AQUATOP’s  BREZA aquarium air pumps. Our electric aquarium air

pumps allow your aquatic creatures inside the aquarium to acquire the oxygen they need in

order to thrive. An air pump system adds air bubbles, creates current and agitates the water’s

surface by compressing air inside the air pump. This is where the quiet hum noise comes from.

An air pump also aids in maintaining stable and healthy Ph levels inside the your aquarium.

AquaTop recommends you never put the air pump inside the aquarium or immerse in water,

nor buy a bigger model than what is essential for your aquarium.

The following accessories are needed: Air Pump Tubing - this is used to direct air from the

air pump itself to the aquarium. Check valve - this valve avoids water siphoning out of your

aquarium and into the air pump when you choose to put it underneath your aquarium water

level; specifically if there is an electrical outage or if the air pump stops working.

Please reference this manual for any questions and directions for use. May AQUATOP’s

BREZA aquarium air pump serve you and your aquatic creatures well.

1)  Read and follow all instructions.

  2)  A drip loop must be used when plugging all electrical aquarium
devices. A drip loop is the part of the cord hanging
below the receptacle. (See Fig. 1)

  3)  A GFCI (Ground fault circuit interrupter) should be used in the branch circuit supplying all
power to air pumps and electrical aquarium equipment. If you do not have a GFCI,
we strongly recommend having a qualified electrician install one prior to operating any
       aquarium component.
  4)  Do not plug into extension cord/power strip.
  5)  Use this product for its intended use only.
  6)  Never yank or pull the cord from the electrical outlet.
  7)  Do not operate if the plug or wire is damaged.
  8)  Do not operate without water.
  9)  Verify that hands are dry prior to disconnecting the power.
10)  To reduce the risks of electrocution, keep all connections dry.
11)  If the product falls into water, do not reach for it. First, unplug the unit. Then retrieve the
unit from the water. If any of the electrical components get wet, unplug immediately.
12)  Do not use soaps or detergents when cleaning this device. Thoroughly clean and rinse
with warm water and make sure the device is completely dry before connecting.
13)  For indoor use only.

1.) Remove the BREZA aquarium air pump from box and place inappropriate area.
     See figures 1, 2, and 3 for do’s and do not’s.
2.) Cut air pump tubing to its required length.
3.) AquaTop recommends attaching the end of the air line (opposite the air pump) to an
AquaTop air-stone or bubble-wand. Either of the two is placed inside the aquarium to
     diffuse air more efficiently.
4.) Install a check valve if the air pump is placed beneath the aquarium’s water-line.
     See figure 3.
5.) AquaTop recommends you add a drip loop to all power cords. This is done by simply
allowing the power cord to loop down to the ground, then back up to the electric outlet.
     See figures 1, 2 and 3.
6.) Be sure to follow all safety measures listed in the instructions prior to operation.
7.) Now you may plug in your AquaTop air pump.
