2.7 CONTROL STATES
This section defines the various control software states required for this amplifier. An example of typical
control states is shown below. The subsections below, define any special responsibilities of the control system.
One example would be to state that when transitioning from the RF ON state to the POWER OFF state, care
must be taken to remove the bias voltage from the power modules before disabling the main power supplies.
Below is a state diagram for the Power and RF states of the amplifier. This diagram should be used to
understand the major states that the amplifier can be in. For simplicity of the diagram, the Keylock switch
position is only listed where relevant.

Power OFF, RF OFF
AC power is applied, the Keylock in not INHIBIT. The control system is waiting for a user action or a remote
command.

Power ON, RF OFF
The Power button has been pressed or the remote command for Power On has been sent.

Power ON, RF ON
Amplifier RF output has been enabled.
