2)

this is where elevator is mixed into aileron control. Used in some military jet aircraft
3)

Elevons (Elevator to Aileron mixing)
Selecting Elevons will cause several things to happen
with the SmoothFlite setup.
The Tail Type page will display the mixing slider as well
as the
“
Invert Mix Direction
”
checkbox button.
The Slider is used to apply More/Less elevator to the
aileron channels.
The
“
Invert Mix Direction
”
will cause the elevator mix
applied to the aileron channels to be inverted. This is
used in combination with the Aileron Sub Trim pages to
get correct directional movement in any setup.
In the physical model Elevator channel will be mixed into the aileron channels and one of the neat things
about the SmoothFlite Elevon mix is that the elevator channels will still be available for assignment to
Canard controls. This feature was developed by Advanced Radio during the build of our SU37 model
which required Elevons, Thrust Vectoring and Canards. Setting a model up with all these controls can be a
very complexed task but rest assured the team at Advanced Radio are here to assist you with this task
should the need arise. Also check the AR product page for setup videos.
