3.2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE MACHINE
The machine has been designed and constructed exclusively
for sowing on soil.
It can be coupled with any tractor equipped with a tow hook,
compliant with standards, and with a minimum power as
specified in the technical specifications table.
Any use of the machine, other than
what is indicated above is to be con-
sidered unauthorised and danger-
ous.
The machine is suitable for sowing:
•
Cereals
(wheat, barley, rye, oats, rice);
•
Forage and fine seeds
(rape, clover, alfalfa, rye-grass);
•
Large seeds
(soya, peas).
The recommended working speed
is 8-10 km/h.
The working temperatures of the
equipment are -10°/+40°C.
The machine must only be used by
qualified personnel and the opera-
tor must be equipped with suitable
Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE).
The machine is designed to sow on surfaces with an incline
of up to 10%.
Correct operation cannot be guaranteed on inclines ex-
ceeding 10%.
Operators are reminded of the following:
•
Reduce the advancing speed;
•
Frequently check that the pipes are free and there is no
clogging or obstructions;
•
Check that the amount of seed distributed per hectare
corresponds to the settings made;
•
Do not under any circumstances operate on an incline
which could compromise machine stability.
