high limit setting, the operation of the function is not activated. This
behavior is applied to short-circuits and earth faults even when the fault current exceeds the
I
set
high
limit setting.

If all of the measured phase magnitudes are below the
I
set
low limit setting, the function is not activated
even when the other conditions (inc. the unbalance condition) are met.
If the
I
set
high limit and I
set
low limit setting parameters are adjusted according to the application's
normal behavior, the operation of the function can be set to be very sensitive for broken circuit and
conductor faults.
