Place the frame lock between the frame
extensions and the window sill as shown (see Fig. 6).
Drive 3/4-in. (19 mm) or 1/2-in. (12.7 mm) locking
screws through the frame lock and into the sill.
Drive 3/4-in. (19 mm) or 1/2-in. (12.7 mm) locking
screws through the frame holes and into the window
sash (see Fig. 7).
To secure the lower sash in place, attach a right
angle sash lock with a 3/4-in. (19 mm) or a 1/2-in.
(12.7 mm) screw as shown (see Fig. 8).
Cut the window sash seal foam and insert it in the
space between the upper and lower sashes (see Fig. 9).
To prevent the window sill from splitting, drill
1/8-in. (3 mm) pilot holes before driving the screws.
