Expressing milk with a double pumpset
• For expressing milk with a double pumpset connect the
second pumpset to the Ardo breastpump.
• Using the Ardo Calypso breastpump: Place both pumpsets at
the same time on your breast. Switch on the pump.
• Using the Ardo Carum breastpump: Place a pumpset on your
breast, switch on the pump and position the second pumpset
on your other breast. Alternatively, you can also position both
pumpsets at the same time.
Choice of breast shell / breast shell insert
If your nipple rubs uncomfortably on the inner side of the funnel, use a larger breast shell / breast shell
insert. If the areola is also sucked into the funnel, use a smaller breast shell / breast shell insert.
6. Cleaning
The sterile One Mum Pumpset is delivered ready for use and can be used multiple times.
After every use – parts that come in contact with breast milk
Disassemble the pumpset and separate breast shell, flexible
membrane pot, lip valve and milk bottle, lid and lid liner as
shown in the illustration. Wash these parts as soon as possible
after expressing. Rinse all parts under cold running water and
then either clean them by hand or in the dishwasher.
Clean by hand
Place all parts in a clean washing-up bowl. Do not place pumpset parts directly in the sink. Wash all parts
with soapy hot water and a soft brush or clean dishcloth. Use the washing-up bowl and the bottle brush
only for cleaning the pumpset and other infant feeding items. After cleaning, rinse the pumpset parts well
under running water.
Do not clean the lip valve with a brush!
Clean in a dishwasher
All illustrated parts can be cleaned in a dishwasher. Place the lip valve and flexible membrane pot into a
basket. If possible run the dishwasher using hot water and a heated drying cycle. Remove the pumpset
parts from dishwasher with clean hands.
