4. Inserting the batteries
1.
Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the appliance.
2.
Remove the battery compartment from the housing.
3.
Insert 6 AAA 1.5 V batteries into the battery compartment.
4.
Replace the battery compartment back into the housing and screw the cap
back on.
5. Filling the appliance
1.
Place the appliance in an upright position and remove the grinder head by
holding the housing and turning the head counter-clockwise.
2.
Fill the chamber with salt or pepper through the side opening. Take care
not to fill too much. This prevents overfilling the grinder.
3.
Replace the head and turn clockwise to lock it.
6. Initial use
To start grinding, turn the grinder upside down, so that the head is facing down.
The appliance automatically starts to grind.
Turn the grinding level dial, which is located on the grinding head to vary from
fine to coarse grinding.
7. Cleaning and Care
Do not immerse the appliance in water.

Remove the batteries before cleaning.
• Dismantle all the parts.

Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth.
