The “Stationary Scene Camera” check box is only used with the
ET3Space
function and other special
configurations for an external scene camera can be used. Its use is described in the ET3Space manual.
Do not check this box for normal use of
ETVision
as described in this manual .
The “Quality" slider controls scene image compression quality. The quality slider is scaled from 0% at
the left to 100% at the right (higher values correspond to better quality and less compression). The
default and suggested value is 70%. This usually produces very good image quality without using
excessive computer resources.

Play Back Mode
The “Play Back Mode” controls are used to play and process video from “emv” type files, recorded,
on SD card, by the
ETVision
Controller. See section 6.7.3 for instructions.
8.4.3
Subject Calibration tab
The Subject Calibration dialog is used to set optional parameters for the calibration function, can be
used to enter and exit the system calibration mode, and displays calibration status information.
The default value for “Total Calibration Points" is 9. The default "Calibration Type" is "Click on
Scene Image Points”. A detailed explanation of the parameter settings, status information, and
Subject Calibration functionality is in Appendix B (section 8.2). A shorter description of the
recommended calibration procedure is in section 6.5.
