Controller Settings
If headphones are connected to the
ETVision
Controller, and the
ETVision
PC microphone is enabled
(see section 6.6.8) the “Headphone Volume” slider controls headphone volume. The “Microphone
Gain” slider is used to adjust gain on the microphone that is in the wearable optics frame.
Configuration Settings
The “Save” button, under “Configuration Settings”, is used to save a file with all current
ETVision
configuration settings, including the most recent subject calibration. Click the “Save” button and use
the resulting browser dialog to select a file name and directory. The “Save as Type” specification
should usually be left as “XML files”. In this case, an “.xml” extension will automatically be added to
the file name. The default file name will be the current “profile” name specified on the Eye Data Tab,
with an appended date and time value. The user can modify this file name as desired.
To re-load this configuration at a later time, click “Load” on the same
Advanced Configuration
dialog,
and select the previously saved file.

About Tab
The “About” tab shows the current program version number. If the PC is connected to the Internet, it
also indicates whether the version is “up to date” or whether there is a newer version. If the version is
not “up to date” a link will lead to an update installer.
