Import Strelec’s properties
Import of properties is performed in order to upgrade the Strelec’s configuration
stored in the keypad.
Import of properties is necessary if:
1.
Several keypads are located in Strelec and the Strelec configuration has
been changed by one of them,
2.
Strelec’s configuration has been changed by a PC,
3.
a new keypad or the keypad used previously in another wireless system is
included into the programmed set of Strelec.
There are two ways of Properties’ importing
1.
Importing properties of wireless expanders
is performed when the Strelec configuration is stored in the keypad
memory and there is a necessity to
partially
update information about set-
tings of
wireless expanders, slave devices or system devices
.
2.
Importing properties of all the devices
is performed when the keypad
doesn’t have configuration
in its memory
or there is a necessity of
complete
updating of the wireless system’s con-
figuration.
For reading properties of
wireless expanders, slave and system devices
, use the
command
►Importing properties of the wireless expander
Connect the keypad to the wireless expander functioning as a network coor-
dinator (WEx 0) (through RS-232 or wireless interface) for importing prop-
erties of system devices, slave devices WEx 0 or remote importing of prop-
erties of slave wireless expanders and their slave devices.
Properties of the slave wireless expander and its slave devices can be im-
ported through the interface RS-232 connected to the keypad.
Switch into the menu for importing

Select a wireless expander in the network topology tree, which properties are
necessary to be imported, a master WEx of a slave device, which properties
are required to be imported or WEx 0 for importing properties of system de-
vices.
