PROPERTIES OF STRELEC’S DEVICES
8.1
Common properties of Strelec
Radio frequency and general properties of the wireless system are accessible from
the menu:
System’s code – a property which units equipment of the wireless system. It
contains 2 digits, each lies within the range 00-99. One of the digits is acces-
sible to be changed by a user. Another is selected randomly by PU-R.
Frequency range
– selection of a frequency range (434 МHz or 868 МHz
1
).
Channel’s number
– a number of a main frequency channel within a fre-
quency range. Selection of a main channel enables several wireless systems
to operate at the same facility
2
.
External disturbance – a wireless expander generates a signal “External dis-
turbance” in the event of detecting an irrelevant wireless signal at the operat-
ing channel.
Extended range – an operating range of wireless devices is extended by 1.5
times, when periods of control signals’ transmission and the control of a
communication channel by 5 times.
Properties of detection circuit interfaces of the Control Panels "Akkord-
512", "Raduga-2А", "Raduga-4А" "Raduga-3/240", accessible from this
menu as well, are described in the properties of the wireless expanders WEx
(the paragraph 8.2, page 67) and WExF240 (the paragraph 8.4, page 71) cor-
respondingly.
1
Optimization of radio frequency circuits of wireless devices is performed only for every range separately. There-
fore, while operating in the frequency range, different from the range, the devise has been optimized for; the operat-
ing range of the device will be decreased (approximately by 2-4 times).
2
An inbuilt scanner of radio air can be used for selection of an optimal frequency channel. A minimum noise level
within a frequency channel should serve as criteria for selection.
