INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CITRUS PRESS FUNCTION
- Place the conveyor (4) onto the base of the appliance (2) and fit the spout into the slit.
- Fit the filter (5) onto the conveyor and fit the filter’s detent into the suitable slit on the conveyor.
- Insert the press cone (6).
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE PARTS HAVE BEEN MOUNTED CORRECTLY.
- Plug the power cord into the socket
- Place a container beneath the spout
- Slice the citrus fruit you want to press in half. Take one half and place onto the press cone.
- Have the fruit touch the lever (7) and lightly press it. The motor will automatically start up and the fruit
juice will pour directly into the container while seeds and pulp will remain within the filter (fig. 1).
- The motor will rotate in both directions in order to provide the best pressing function possible; therefore
press the fruit on and off so that the appliance will automatically rotate alternatively in one direction and
then in the other.
- When all the juice has been extracted, stop pressing the fruit; this will automatically arrest the motor..
Juicer function
- Fit the conveyor (8) onto the base (3) so that its marker is lined up with the symbol “ open lock” on the
base; rotate it counter clockwise until the marker reaches the “ closed lock” symbol (fig. 2)
- Place the juicer filter (9) inside the conveyor (8). Press towards the base and make sure that the filter fits
onto the motor base.
WARNING
THE JUICER FILTER IS EXTREMELY DELICATE.
- Fit the juicer lid (10) with the press (11) onto the conveyor and rotate it counter clockwise until it clicks
and can go no further and the tab on the lid fits into the suitable slit on the conveyor (fig. 3).
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE PARTS HAVE BEEN MOUNTED CORRECTLY.
- Place a container for the juice beneath the spout
- Extract the press (11). Introduce the food which has been sliced into small pieces and from which all pits
and fibrous or hard parts (which can not be juiced) have been cut away (fig.4)
- Insert the plug and turn the On/speed knob (17) clockwise to the first mark to start the juicer (fig.5)
The appliance is also provided with a second speed and with the PULSE function (fig.5); however it is advi-
sable to use the juicer only on the first speed which is sufficient for obtaining excellent juices.
- Lightly press the press (11). Never use your fingers to press the food into the juicer. Food can be con-
stantly introduced into the juicer by lifting the press (11) without having to turn off the motor.
- The juice will directly pour into the container while the seeds and the pulp will remain in the juicer filter.
NEVER REMOVE THE LID WHILE USING THE APPLIANCE.
- It may be necessary to switch the appliance off several times in order to remove any food residues from
the sides of the juicer filter (9). In this case, switch the appliance off and unplug the power cord.
