2.5. CHANGING THE TYPE OF GAS
To change from one gas family to a different one, the burner injectors need to
be replaced. Consult the technical data sheet of the device.
Injector replacement:
Cooking table burners:
- Remove the racks and trays;
- Remove the injectors and replace them with those adapted to the new type
of gas;
- Reassemble the parts, carrying out the operations in the reverse order.
Oven burners:
- Remove the bottom of the oven. Remove the injector part;
- Remove the injector and replace it with the one adapted to the new type of
gas;
- Reassemble the injector parts, carrying out the operations in reverse order;
- Place the bottom of the oven.
Replacing the injector on the pilot burner:
- Unscrew the threaded cap (Ref. A);
- Remove the injector (Ref. B) and replace it
to adapt to the new type of gas;
- Replace the threaded cap (Ref. A).
Replacement of the thermostatic valve bypass:
- Remove the controls and the front panel;
- Unscrew the bypass and replace it with the appropriate one;
- Reassemble the parts, carrying out the operations in the reverse order;
Always check the tightness of the connections.
Proceed to regulate the primary air and the minimums as indicated above.
Replacement injectors for adaptation to another type of gas are supplied with
the device.
The injectors are accompanied by a “WARNING” label that must be attached
when the appliance is adapted to that type of gas. Any changes made to the
injectors or their replacement by others different from the original ones will void
the warranty.
