2.5. CHANGING THE TYPE OF GAS
To change from one gas family to a different one, the burner injectors need to
be replaced. Consult the technical data sheet of the device.
Injector replacement:
Barbecue burners:
- Remove the grills;
- Remove the volcanic stone grill;
- Proceed to replace the injector that adapts to the new type of gas;
- Reassemble the parts, carrying out the operations in reverse order.
Replacing the injector on the pilot burner:
- Unscrew the threaded cap (Ref. A);
- Remove the injector (Ref. B) and replace it
to adapt to the new type of gas;
- Replace the threaded cap (Ref. A).
Always check the tightness of the connections.
Proceed to regulate the primary air and the minimums as indicated above.
Replacement injectors for adaptation to another type of gas are supplied with
the device.
The injectors are accompanied by a “WARNING” label that must be attached
when the appliance is adapted to that type of gas. Any changes made to the
injectors or their replacement by others different from the original ones will void
the warranty.
