Connection
1. Select the Connection Box. Plug one end of the telephone line cord into
your telephone wall socket, the other into the socket marked “LINE” in the
Connection Box.
An adapter is provided to enable the connection of the telephone line to
older type telephone sockets.
2. Plug one end of the 8 wire connecting cable into the socket on the
Connection Box marked “CONFERENCE PHONE”. Plug the other end into
the socket on the bottom of the Powerphone, marked “CONTROL BOX”.
On the bottom of the Powerphone there is a switch marked “MIC SW”,
check that this is in position 3. (See page 9)
3. Plug the pin-end of the AC power adapter cord into the socket marked
“DC12V”. Plug the power adapter in to the nearby wall power socket.
Note: When the power is turned on you will hear an audible self-test music
tone which will last several seconds.
WARNING: This equipment will not operate when mains power fails or
is disconnected.
Recommended Room Setup
This product is recommended for use in small to medium conference rooms.
It has a pickup coverage of 360 degrees. The Powerphone should be placed
in the middle of the conference table.
