1.3 Main functions
1.3.1 Working Mode
As soon as the product is supplied, all the temperature leds are switched on for two seconds.
Then the product shall control if the NFC parameters that will characterize the product are updated.
If the data is not updated and the internal EEPROM is corrupted the product will be forced to a NFC
error, elsewhere the temp leds will be switched on in turn one after the others.
The product shall start in ON mode by default from factory then the Off or On state will be saved in
memory and restored after a power off.
In Off state all leds shall be off and no heating shall be performed in this state.
To turn on/off the product the user has to press the ON_OFF button.
1.3.2 Normal state
In normal state the temperature leds shall point out the measured water temperature in several ways.
Temperature associated to each led depends on tank volume.
If heating is not in progress, the leds shall display the temperature of the water in the tank.
During heating, leds shall be turned on steadily to point out the measured water temperature, while
the others that are blinking one after the other shall indicate the set point to be reached; finally the
leds that remain off are the ones that overcome set point value.
Heating is performed with the heating element until setpoint is achieved, then it shall be maintained
with 5 °C hysteresis.
1.3.3 Eco function
The Eco function is activated/deactivated by pressing the ECO button (ECO led is on/off). The Eco
function aims to produce hot water by learning the user habits. So, for the first week ever the product
memorize the tappings and the periods in which those tappings take place. From the following weeks
the water heating is performed regarding what learned previously.
If the user wants to reset the function and start a new learning period, it is necessary to select the
proper command via App or by pressing the ECO button for 5 seconds (the eco led will appear
blinking).
If ENCODER is rotated the function will be deactivated.
If WEEKLY PROGRAM function is selected ECO will be deactivated.

4 Ready

with ECO version)
When setpoint is achieved and heating stops the Ready led is switched on; this led is switched
off as soon as heating restarts as water temperature has gone down the hysteresis.

.3.5 Weekly program function
The weekly program function can be activated only via App. There is no feedback on the
HMI that this mode has been selected.
The user can select for each day of the week two different set point temperatures at two
different times: the product will calculate the heating rise velocity and depending on it the
best time to start
heating in order to satisfy setpoint at the desired time.
If ENCODER is rotated the function will be deactivated.
If ECO function is selected WEEKLY PROGRAM will be deactivated.
