Alenti and Calypso are the recommended Arjo
bath lift chairs that can be used with Classic Line 2
bathtub to transfer patients. See Alenti or Calypso
IFU before use.
1. Before using Classic Line 2 bathtub, perform the
preparations described in section Preparations
for bath on page 23.
2. Undress the patient and cover him or her with
towels to keep warm.
3. A sitting patient can be transferred from the bed
or wheelchair into Classic Line 2 bathtub with a
bath lift chair. See Figure 23.

Transfer the patient to Classic Line 2 bathtub.
5. Position the bath lift chair diagonally to the side

clearance. See Figure 24.
6.
Raise the bath lift chair to where it and any
genitals clears the Classic Line 2 bathtub rim.

To avoid entrapment, make sure to keep
the patients hair, arms and feet close
to the body and use designated grab
supports during any movement.

clearance during movement over the
bathtub edge, toilet, bedpan or other
furniture.
