Raise the bath lift chair to where it and any
genitals clears the Classic Line 2 bathtub rim.
5. Help the patient to move his or her legs over the
edge of Classic Line 2 bathtub while rotating the
bath lift chair away from Classic Line 2 bathtub.

6. Lower the bath lift chair.
7. Dry the remaining wet body areas.
8. Adjust the bath lift chair to an ergonomic transfer
height for the caregiver. See Figure 37.
9. When transferring the patient straight from
Classic Line 2 bathtub to bed, put a towel on the
bed under the bath lift chair seat to avoid making
the bed wet. Dry the patient thoroughly when
lying down in bed.
Disinfect after each patient
Prepare Classic Line 2 bathtub for the next patient.
Classic Line 2 bathtub and bath lift chair must be
fully disinfected after each use to prevent cross
contamination. See Figure 38. See section Cleaning
and disinfection on page 34.
