17. Dismantling the counter
As required by waste disposal regulations and to avoid damage to the environment, divide the
counter's components so that they can be disposed of separately or recycled.
Not all counter parts can be disposed of as solid urban waste, apart from the metal parts, which in any
event are not considered special waste in most European countries.
Materials used to manufacture the counter:
- 18/10 (AISI 304) stainless steel: counter frame, fittings
- Iron tubes:
lower frame
- Galvanized sheet-iron:
inside panels, lower panels, painted panels
- Tempered glass:
glass windows
- Rock wool refractory cardboard: thermal insulation
- PVC:
bumper profiles, kick plate profile.

carefully so that you can provide
more detailed information when contacting
Customer Service
in case of problems.
Be sure to switch off the power supply before servicing the counter in any way.
If any irregularities are noticed in the counter's functions, make sure of the following before
you call Customer Service:
- To prevent heat dispersion and damaging the plate, use flat-bottom containers having a diameter at
least as large as the plate itself;
- Immediately remove any faults detected (loose screws, burned-out lamps, etc.);
- Regularly carry out the preventive maintenance operations;
- Do not touch the cooking plate with wet parts of your body;
- Do not touch the heating lamps - Scalding hazard!
- DO NOT carry out improper, dangerous operations;
- Do not let the power cord of any instrument (e.g. scales) touch any of the counter's hot parts;
- DO NOT use flammable liquids near hot parts;
- Do not use unstable or deformed saucepans;
- Do not leave the cooking plates on without saucepans on them;
- IN CASE OF GAS LEAKS OR FIRE: Do not stay in the room with the counter unless it is adequately
ventilated. Disconnect the counter from the master switch upstream of the appliance. DO NOT USE
WATER TO EXTINGUISH FIRES - USE DRY EXTINGUISHERS ONLY.
ANY OTHER USE NOT EXPRESSLY INDICATED IN THIS MANUAL SHOULD BE CONSIDERED
DANGEROUS. THE MANUFACTURER CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES
