check the temperature after about 60 minutes of operation with the cabinet empty.
5
if the temperature has reached the storage values, load the products.
- The BT/TN version can be used for short periods as a TN by changing temperature set-
tings on the electronic controller from -25°C to 0°C.
- Use the BT cabinet in the TN version only a few weeks a year.
BT= Low Temperature (-22°C/-25°C -18°C/-21°C)
TN= Normal Temperature (0°C/+2°C +2°C/+4°C)
i
If the thermostat is powered by batteries:
- replace the discharged batteries with similar ones
- do not dispose of batteries in the environment
- consign the batteries to authorized collection centres
16. Cabinet loading
max allowed capacity evenly distributed of tray:
300 kg/m
2
(Fig.12)
Formation of frost. Adherence between frozen products, adherence to bottom grid.
- limit the storage time of frozen products at room temperature and humidity.
- limit the opening of sliding to a max of 2-3 min.
Remedy
•
arrange the products in order and evenly (Fig.12)
•
respect the loading line (Fig.12)
•
introduce products already cooled at the required storage temperature
•
maintain 4-5mm of air between the goods and the sliding doors
•
open/close the sliding locks using only the handle
•
load the cabinet so that the goods from a longer time is sold before the newly
received goods (stock rotation)
What to avoid
DO NOT
obstruct/impede the flow of cooled air
NEVER
exceed the loading line
NEVER
introduce heated products
DO NOT
obstruct the area in front of the cabinet (Fig.13)
DO NOT
obstruct the inlet of cooled air with: goods, price tags, price holders,
decorations etc.
i
Arrange the goods without leaving empty spaces, to improve cabinet performance
The inflow of warm air into the cabinet is inevitable; if a thin layer of frost builds up due to
high humidity, keep the doors closed for 2 hours.
It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that all operations are carried out safely and in ac
-
cordance with the norms in force.
17.
Defrosting and water drainage
Bergen 2 is equipped with an
electric defrosting system
with the use of armoured heating elements.
DO NOT
use devices to accelerate thawing.
17.1
Draining the water
The defrost water is collected via an appropriate drain and conveyed into a tank located at the base
of the cabinet equipped with a resistance for water evaporation.
i
Check the water level every 30 days.
