1. Introduction - Scope of the manual/Field of application
This instruction manual regards the
Malmoe G3 - G4
line of refrigerated cabinets.
The scope of the information that follows is that of providing indications concerning:
- Use of the cabinet;
- Technical characteristics;
- Installation and assembly;
- Information for the personnel in charge of its use;
- Maintenance operations.
The manual should be considered part of the cabinet and must be kept for the entire life of the cabinet
itself.
The manufacturer holds itself exempt from all responsability in the following circumstances:
- Improper use of the cabinet;
- Incorrect installation, not carried out according to the norms indicated;
- Defects in the electrical supply;
- Serious lacks in required maintenance;
- Unauthorised changes and modifications;
- Use of non-original spare parts;
- Partial or total non-observance of instructions given;
N.B.Electrical appliances can be dangerous for your health.
The norms and laws in force must be respected during installation and use.
Anybody using this cabinet must read this manual.
2. Presentation - Foreseen use (Fig. 1)
The
Malmoe G3 - G4
line of refrigerated cabinets (Fig. 1), with double display tank, is a line of
‘isalnd’ type displayers suitable for the storage and self-service sale of
frozen food, ice cream and
meat
. Their large display and load capacity makes them suitable for large stores.
3. Norms and certifications
The reference norms, according to which the cabinet has been tested and approved, are:
EN-ISO 23953 - 1/2; EN 60335-2-89; EN 61000-3-2; EN 61000-3-3; EN 55014
ENVIRONMENTAL CLIMATIC CLASSES
These cabinets were tested for climatic class 3 (25°C;U.R.60%):
The cabinets conform to the essential requirements of the following directives:
- Machinery Directive
98/37 EEC
- Electromagnetic compatibility directive
89/336 EEC
and subsequent modifications
92/31 EEC, 93/
68 EEC
- Low Voltage Directive
2006/95/EC
The cabinet remains excluded from the field of application of Directive
EEC 97/23 (PED)
as it falls
under the terms of Art.3 paragraph 3.
