PORTUGUESA
supply has been turned off.
In the case in which the customer notes type of anomaly in unit performance, before contacting Customer
Assistance, check the following items:
- Carry out all work operations with extreme attention (loading, unloading, cleaning, customer
sales, maintenance, etc.) and when performing various operations, always use the maximum
care and the necessary protective devices.
- use extreme care when carrying out all work operations (loading, unloading, cleaning, customer sales,
maintenance, etc.). Always use required safety devices (IPD) for the operations to be carried out.
- make sure the temperature and ambient humidity values do not exceed those specified. Hence, it is
indispensable to always maintain the air-conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems in the sales point
at maximum efficiency.
- Limit airflow speed to less than 0.2 m/s in proximity to the unit's openings. Avoid that air currents and the
air conditioning system's air delivery openings are aimed towards the opening of the units.
- avoid direct exposure to sunlight for displayed merchandise.
- limit the temperature of radiating surfaces located in the sales point, e.g. insulating ceilings.
- do not use spotlights with incandescent bulbs aimed directly at the unit.
- avoid obstructing the air intake and delivery openings, even partially.
- only insert merchandise at a temperature that is normal for the cold chain, and make sure that the unit is
always able to maintain that temperature.
- respect the load limits, avoiding excessive loading of the unit.
- rotate food products by loading the cabinet in such a way that the goods displayed for longest are sold
before new arrivals.
- periodically check the operating temperature of the unit and that of the merchandise displayed (at least
twice per day, including weekends).
- in the case of a loss of electricity, close the unit using the night cover. If the loss of electricity is planned,
close the unit using the night cover at least a few hours earlier, so that it is functioning at maximum
efficiency.
- in case of unit malfunctioning, immediately take measures to avoid overheating of the refrigerated
products (returning them to the main refrigeration cell, etc.).
- immediately remove any problematic issue found (loosened screws, burnt out light bulbs, etc.)
- periodically check on the performance of the unit's automatic defrost (frequency, duration, air
temperature, restoration of normal operation, etc.).
- check the flow of water from defrosting (free drains, clean any filters, check siphons, etc.).
- check for any anomalous condensation. If found, immediately contact your refrigeration technician.
- carry out all preventive maintenance operations punctually.
- dispose of defrost water, or that used for cleaning, through the sewer system or depuration system in
conformance with the laws in effect, as the latter may come in contact with polluting substances, due to
the nature of the product, as well as with residues, accidental breakage of packages containing liquids,
as well as the use of inappropriate detergents.
- IN THE CASE OF A GAS LEAK OR FIRE: Do not stay in the room where the unit is found if it has not
been appropriately ventilated. Disconnect the unit, using the main switch upstream from the device. DO
NOT USE WATER TO PUT OUT THE FLAMES, USE ONLY DRY EXTINGUISHERS.
- DO NOT climb onto the bumper rail
