Jalapeño Quinoa with Shallots
Place the inner pot into the rice cooker. Pour the oil into the inner pot and add the
shallot, garlic and peppers. Press QUINOA button to begin cooking. Using a long-
handed plastic spoon, stir until the onion begins to soften. Add the quinoa and chicken
broth and stir well. Close the lid and cook until the quinoa is done, about 25 to 30
minutes. Serve while warm. Serves 4.

honey, raisins and cinnamon. Press OATMEAL, cover and allow the contents to come to
a boil. Let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until mixture thickens, stirring frequently. Pour into
serving bowls and add milk, honey, almonds or sugar to taste.
