• Enter the valid emergency code (that which is in the envelope if it
is the first change or that now programmed in if you have previously
changed it).
• Press the key.
• Enter the new emergency code that you have decided on. Remember
that it must have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 12 digits.
• Press the key.
• For verification re-enter your new emergency code.
• Press the key again.
The safe will emit a long beep for acceptance if the process has been
completed correctly. If there has been an error it will emit four short
beeps. In this second case the opening code has not been changed and
you will have to repeat the process.
5. USE OF THE EXTERNAL BATTERY CHARGER:
In the event that the safe has flat batteries and you do not have the
emergency key, you can open the safe by using 1 external 9V battery.
Proceed in the following manner:
• Connect the 2 extremes of the battery to the 2 power points that are
on the keypad (+ y -).
• Open the safe in the normal way ( - code - ).
6. CONDITION OF THE BATTERY INDICATOR:
Each time that you use the safe, the electronic system verifies the
condition of the batteries. If the condition is good, the safe uses the
green light during the opening process. If the batteries are low the safe
uses the red light.
Once you see that the safe is using the red light, you should change the
batteries that are found on the inside of the door. The safe is able to
carry out several openings after the appearance of the red light. Even
so, do not rely on this and change the batteries as soon as possible.
