inactive
The luminaire is by default set as one channel device with active working light func-
tion (worklight). Only the intensity is controlled!
According to the above DMX table it is apparent that the luminaire may also have two
DMX channels. The second DMX channel may be activated by the user himself or the
user can ask his supplier to activate the second DMX channel already when purchasing
the luminaire.
2.2 WORKLIGHT FUNCTION
If the Worklight function is active (default setting), then the luminaire will light up to
100 % when connected to the electric power mains. ATTENTION! For a period of 1-2
seconds when connected to the 230V electric power mains the luminaire does not re-
spond (charging of the electronics) and then gently starts up in a time of 1 second. If
you want to dim the luminaire continuously, then connect to the input XLR connector
the DMX signal. As soon as the luminaire detects the DMX signal then it turns off (if no
DMX values available) or changes to the set level, which is sent to by an external DMX
controller. From this moment on you can continuously dim the luminaire by the external
DMX controller from 0-100 %. If you interrupt the DMX signal, or you switch it off, then
the luminaire will start again to behave like an ordinary unregulated working light.
If the Worklight function is switched off, then the luminaire will do nothing after connec-
tion to the electric power mains. It is waiting to get some value on its DMX channel and
according to this value it responds. In practice this means that without a source of DMX
signal the luminaire can not be lighted up.
